Busch to lead Nationwide field in NashvilleLebanon, TN (Sports Network) - Kyle Busch won the pole for Saturday afternoon's Pepsi 300 Nationwide Series race at the Nashville Superspeedway. The No.20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota driver circled the 1.333-mile cement oval in 29.310 seconds (163.357 m.p.h.). The pole victory was Busch's first this season and 12th of his Nationwide career.
Starting alongside Busch will be Mike Bliss, who posted a time of 29.576
seconds. Steve Wallace (29.596) and defending series champion Carl Edwards (29.609) will start in row two. In last year's Pepsi 300, Edwards crossed the finish line more than four seconds ahead of runner-up David Reutimann. Then in the June race, Edwards beat Clint Bowyer by more than one and-a-half seconds. It was his third consecutive win in Nashville. The race is schedule to drop the green flag at 2 p.m. (et).
