Rain forces Nationwide Series to race on SundayFontana, CA (Sports Network) - A persistent rain storm forced NASCAR officials to postpone Saturday night's Stater Bros. 300 Nationwide Series race. The race has been rescheduled for Sunday, one hour after the Sprint Cup event. When the race finally gets underway, Jeff Burton will lead the field to the green flag. The rest of the top-five will be Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards, Clint Bowyer and David Reutimann.
Last year, Matt Kenseth took the checkered flag, leading 15 other Sprint Cup
drivers who took the top-16 positions on the board. Kenseth went on to win the
Cup race the following day as well.
