A-Rod passes Williams, McCovey on all-time home run list

Bronx, NY (Sports Network) - Alex Rodriguez belted his 522nd career home run Wednesday against the Boston Red Sox, passing Ted Williams and Willie McCovey for 15th place on the all-time major league list.

The reigning AL MVP deposited a Clay Buchholz fastball over the wall in left- center for his fourth home run of the year during the first inning.
