Braves P Moylan to have surgery

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Peter Moylan will have surgery on Thursday on his strained right elbow.

Moylan will have the surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. He is currently on the 60-day disabled list.

In seven appearances this season, the right-hander has recorded a 1.59 earned run average with a 0-1 record and one save.
