Braves SS Escobar hurts finger

Flushing, NY (Sports Network) - Atlanta Braves shortstop Yunel Escobar suffered a contusion on his right index finger during Friday's 6-3 victory over the New York Mets.

Braves manager Bobby Cox said Escobar's finger was bleeding after the ball hit his finger on a sacrifice bunt try in the first inning. Cox said it's likely Escobar will be out the remaining two games of the series.
