Braves SS Escobar hurts fingerFlushing, NY (Sports Network) - Atlanta Braves shortstop Yunel Escobar suffered a contusion on his right index finger during Friday's 6-3 victory over the New York Mets. Braves manager Bobby Cox said Escobar's finger was bleeding after the ball hit his finger on a sacrifice bunt try in the first inning. Cox said it's likely Escobar will be out the remaining two games of the series. Martin Prado took over at shortstop and is expected to play the position the next two days.
