Braves activate Prado

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Braves activated infielder Martin Prado from the 15-day disabled list prior to Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies, allowing him to start at second base.

He missed 55 games since spraining his left thumb while sliding into first base on May 4. Prado was placed on the DL the next day.

In 18 games this season, Prado is batting .282 (11-for-39) with six RBI.

In a corresponding move, the club optioned infielder Brent Lillibridge to Triple-A Richmond.
