Clemens to miss at least one startBronx, NY (Sports Network) - Roger Clemens is expected to miss at least one turn in the starting rotation for the New York Yankees due to a right elbow injury. Clemens was touched for five runs on eight hits in just four innings on Monday in a 7-1 loss to the Seattle Mariners.
Yankees manager Joe Torre said after the game that Clemens will have an MRI on
his right elbow after feeling discomfort in the fourth inning. "He went to get an MRI done, so we'll have to wait until tomorrow to talk to him," Torre said of Clemens. "I think for safety's sake we're going to skip him one time, and hopefully that's all it is." Clemens is 6-6 this season with a 4.45 ERA.
