D-Backs' Quentin goes on DLPhoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Arizona Diamondbacks placed outfielder Carlos Quentin on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a right hamstring strain. Quentin batted just .208 with five home runs and 28 RBI in 71 games this season.
To fill the roster spot, Arizona selected the contract of outfielder Justin
Upton from Double-A Mobile. Upton was the first-overall choice in the 2005
draft, and hit .310 in 70 games with the D-Backs' Southern League affiliate.
