Florida CF De Aza hurts ankleMiami, FL (Sports Network) - Florida center fielder Alejandro De Aza was carted off the field with an ankle injury in the ninth inning of the Marlins' 4-2 exhibition loss to the New York Yankees. De Aza collided with left fielder John Raynor on a play that turned into a three-run inside-the-park home run by the Yankees' Chad Moeller. De Aza sprained his left ankle and he could be put on the disabled list to start the season.
Expected to start the season as a platoon in center field with Cody Ross, De
Aza hit .229 with eight RBI in 45 games last season.
