Gagne relieved of closing duties for Brewers

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost announced before Sunday's 5-3 win over St. Louis that Eric Gagne had been relieved of his closer duties and will approach the ends of games with a closer-by- committee.

Gagne, 32, signed a one-year contract in the offseason after splitting last season with the Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox.
