Jackson, Owings brilliant again in Arizona's win over San FranSan Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - Conor Jackson hit a solo home run and drove in three as the Arizona Diamondbacks spoiled the 50th anniversary of baseball in San Francisco with an 8-2 win over the Giants in the second of a three-game set at AT&T Park. Chris Young went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored while Eric Byrnes went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for the Diamondbacks, who snapped a two-game losing streak. Micah Owings (3-0) won his fifth straight start, which dates back to last season, as he gave up just one run on three hits in six innings of work. Aaron Rowand and Jose Castillo each drove in a run for the Giants, who had a two-game winning streak coming into the game. Kevin Correia (1-2) got the loss as he was charged with five runs on five hits in six innings of work. The game marked the 50th anniversary of baseball in San Francisco, as on April 15, 1958, the Giants played their first home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Diamondbacks took a 1-0 lead in the second as Jackson led off the inning by ripping a 1-1 fastball into the left field stands. Arizona grabbed a 3-0 lead in the third as Owings hit a one-out single and Young followed by scalding a 1-0 pitch that just cleared the left field wall. In the fifth, Arizona plated two more runners to take a 5-0 lead. With the bases loaded and one out, Byrnes punched a single to center that scored Chris Burke. After Orlando Hudson lined out, Jackson drew a walk to bring home Chris Snyder. The Giants got a run in the sixth as Rowand's ground out plated Fred Lewis to make it a 5-1 game. However, Arizona got the run back in the seventh on Hudson's RBI single that allowed Byrnes to cross the plate. Castillo's ground out in the seventh allowed John Bowker to cross the plate and again make it a four-run game, but Stephen Drew answered with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning as Justin Upton crossed the plate to make it a 7-2 contest. The Diamondbacks tacked on another run in the ninth as Jackson's double scored Young for an 8-2 lead. The Giants attempted to rally in the ninth as they loaded the bases with one out, but Brandon Lyon got Randy Winn and Ray Durham to fly out and end the contest. Game Notes Byrnes has an 11-game hitting streak while Upton has reached base safely in 13 straight games...Durham wore No. 42 in remembrance of Jackie Robinson, who broke the MLB color barrier on this day in 1947...Hudson, Byrnes, Upton, Young and first base coach Lee Tinsley all wore No. 42 for Arizona.
