Jackson named NL Player of the WeekNew York, NY (Sports Network) - Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Conor Jackson was selected as the top player in the National League for the period ending April 20. The 25-year-old Jackson hit .480 with three home runs and led the National League with 10 runs batted in and 10 runs scored during the week.
Jackson also tied for the league lead with 27 total bases and two triples en
route to earning weekly honors for the first time.
