Mets avoid arbitration with Feliciano

Flushing, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Mets avoided arbitration with Pedro Feliciano, agreeing to a one-year deal with the left-handed set-up man.

Feliciano was second on the team last year with 78 appearances, and finished third in the bullpen with a 3.09 earned run average.

He is 10-5 with a 3.20 ERA throughout his five seasons in the majors.
