Phillies activate Rollins from DLSan Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Phillies activated reigning National League MVP Jimmy Rollins from the 15-day disabled list on Friday. The switch-hitting shortstop will bat in his familiar leadoff position in the series opener against the San Francisco Giants. Rollins sustained a sprained left ankle on April 8th against the New York Mets scrambling back to second base on a pickoff attempt. Rollins is batting .308 with two home runs and six RBI in 12 games this season. To make room for Rollins, the club optioned infielder Brad Harman to Double-A Reading.
