Pirates reinstate DumatraitPittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Pirates reinstated pitcher Phil Dumatrait from the 15-day disabled list on Monday in time to start the night's game against the Houston Astros. The left-hander had been on the DL since June 22 with bursitis in his left shoulder.
In 20 appearances this season, 10 of them starts, Dumatrait is 3-4 with a 4.66
earned run average and 51 strikeouts.
