Rangers' Bradley sits with quad injuryArlington, TX (Sports Network) - Texas Rangers designated hitter Milton Bradley did not start Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Braves because of a strained left quadriceps. He suffered the injury in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Braves, in the bottom of the third. Bradley smoked a two-run hit to right-center field, but pulled up before he could go to second. A trainer came out to look at Bradley, who ran a sprint down the right field line before ultimately leaving the game.
Bradley is the American League leader in batting average, with a .330 mark
entering Wednesday's game. He also has 15 home runs and 48 RBI through 62
games this season.
