Rangers C Saltalamacchia leaves contest

Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Texas Rangers catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia left Saturday's game against the Baltimore Orioles with a right groin strain.

The 23-year-old Saltalamacchia, who was replaced by Max Ramirez in the sixth inning, is batting .220 with three home runs and 17 RBI in 38 games this season.
