Rays activate GloverSt. Petersburg, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Rays have activated pitcher Gary Glover off the 15-day disabled list. He had been sidelined since April 26 with right shoulder tendinitis. Glover entered Monday's action with a record of 0-1 and a 1.69 earned run average in nine games out of the bullpen. The 31-year-old right-hander has six scoreless outings since April 8 against Seattle when he took the loss in a 6-5 setback. The Rays opened a roster spot by optioning pitcher Kurt Birkins to Triple-A Durham.
