MLB Baseball Trash Talk
Rays put INF Aybar on DLSt. Petersburg, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Rays placed infielder Willy Aybar on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring following Friday's 10-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles. A switch-hitter, Aybar was batting .292 (7-for-24) with one home run and two RBI.
The club recalled third baseman Evan Longoria from Durham of the International
League to fill the roster spot.
