Red Sox announce schedule for 2008 Opening Series in Japan

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - The 2007 World Series champion Boston Red Sox announced the schedule for their 2008 Ricoh Japan Opening Series in Tokyo on Wednesday.

The schedule has been set as follows:

Saturday, March 22: exhibition game with Hanshin Tigers at Tokyo Dome, 12:07 p.m Japan Time (11:07 p.m et March 21)

Sunday, March 23: exhibition game with Yomiuri Giants at Tokyo Dome, 7:07 p.m. Japan Time (6:07 a.m. et)

Tuesday, March 25: major league regular season opener with Oakland A's at Tokyo Dome, 7:07 p.m. Japan Time (6:07 a.m. et)

Wednesday, March 26: regular season game with Oakland A's at Tokyo Dome, 7:07 p.m. Japan Time (6:07 a.m. et).
