Reds reinstate Fogg from DL to start for HarangCincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Reds reinstated right- handed pitcher Josh Fogg from the 15-day disabled list Saturday, in time to toe the rubber in an evening tilt with the Washington Nationals. Fogg was sidelined with lumbar back spasms and placed on the DL on June 1. He is taking fellow righty Aaron Harang's turn in the rotation after Harang experienced stiffness in his right forearm. Harang is now scheduled to pitch Tuesday against the Cubs.
The 31-year-old Fogg is 1-2 with a 9.85 earned-run average in 11 games,
including four starts, this season. In a concurrent move, the club placed outfielder Norris Hopper on the 15-day DL with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Hopper is batting .200 (10-for-50) in 26 games this season.
