Rox set roster

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - The Colorado Rockies set their opening day roster Sunday with a series of roster moves.

The club signed pitcher Micah Bowie and veteran outfielder Scott Podsednik to major league contracts and placed pitcher Jason Hirsh on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right shoulder.

Bowie finished 4-3 with a 4.55 earned run average in 30 games with Washington last season, while Podsednik hit just .243 with two homers and 11 RBI in 62 games with the Chicago White Sox.
