Twins' Cuddyer leaves game

Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Minnesota Twins right fielder Michael Cuddyer left Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals with a finger injury.

Cuddyer was sliding into third after a base hit by Joe Mauer in the third inning and landed awkwardly. He suffered a dislocation of and laceration to his right index finger.

Jason Kubel came in as a pinch runner, scoring when Delmon Young followed with a grounder to first, then took over in right field in the top of the fourth.
