Wells leaves game early

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Toronto Blue Jays center fielder Vernon Wells left Friday's game against the Cleveland Indians after diving for a fly ball hit by Franklin Gutierrez in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Wells made the catch, but came up appearing to favor his left wrist. Before exiting, Wells was 1-for-3 with a single.

Shannon Stewart came in to play left field and Alex Rios moved to center to accommodate the injury.
