Arenas returns in Wizards-Bucks gameWashington, DC (Sports Network) - Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas returned to action in the team's game Wednesday against Milwaukee, and saw his first minutes in more than four months. The three-time All-Star played the first eight games of the season for the Wizards before needing surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, the same knee that required surgery in the offseason. Arenas has missed 66 games while recovering from the procedure.
The 26-year-old Arizona product has averaged 22.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and
5.9 assists for the Wizards this season, and last played in a game on November
16. Arenas also returns in time for the Wizards' playoff push, as they have lost two straight, but are tied with Toronto for fifth place in the Eastern Conference entering Wednesday's slate of games, at 38-36. Philadelphia is a half-game back of both clubs.
