Bucks' Ivey suspended three gamesNew York, NY (Sports Network) - Milwaukee Bucks guard Royal Ivey has been suspended for three games without pay for punching Bulls center Aaron Gray in the groin, the league announced Wednesday. The incident occurred with 10:48 remaining in the second period of Milwaukee's 151-135 loss to the Bulls on Monday at the Bradley Center. No foul was called on the play, but Gray was down for a couple of minutes following the shot.
With only one game left in the season for the last-place Bucks, at Minnesota
on Wednesday, Ivey will serve the remainder of the suspension at the start of
the 2008-09 season. A third-year pro out of Texas, Ivey has averaged 5.6 points and 2.1 assists for the Bucks this season.
