Williams is scheduled to be sidelined at least six weeks, after which he will be allowed to resume basketball-related activities. He is expected to be fully recovered in time for training camp in October.

The 25-year-old finished his fifth pro season, and fourth with Milwaukee, averaging 17.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 66 games.
