Clippers ink draft pick Gordon

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Clippers signed rookie guard Eric Gordon on Wednesday, the seventh overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft out of Indiana.

Gordon was one of the record-11 freshmen picked in this year's draft, after a stellar season at Indiana earned him Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 20.9 points per game for the Hoosiers.

The 19-year-old Indianapolis native scored 20 or more points 19 times during the 2007-08 season, topping 30 points three times for Indiana.
