Perkins leaves Game 4Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Boston Celtics center Kendrick Perkins left Game 4 of the NBA Finals in the third quarter with a strained left shoulder. Perkins went up to try and block a driving shot in the lane by the Lakers' Lamar Odom with 9:35 left in the third, but came down holding his shoulder and immediately bent over as he headed to the bench. Perkins, who was called for a foul, walked to the locker room holding his shoulder in obvious pain.
This is the second injury suffered by Perkins in the series. He went out of
Game 1 with a sprained left ankle, but has started each game since.
