Suns send Tucker to D-League

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns assigned rookie forward Alando Tucker to their developmental league affiliate in Albuquerque Thursday.

Tucker, the 29th overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, has played in just two games this season after averaging 19.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 36 games for Wisconsin during his senior season at the college level.

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound forward was named Big Ten Player of the Year and a First Team All-American last year and finished his career at Wisconsin as the all-time leading scorer in Badgers history with 2,217 points, surpassing former Phoenix draft pick Michael Finley.
