Wade to miss rest of seasonMiami, FL (Sports Network) - Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade will miss the remainder of the team's dreadful season because of a balky left knee that was surgically repaired in the offseason. Wade had apparently complained of soreness in the knee a couple of weeks ago and sat out Friday's game against Golden State to rest. He returned Saturday against Atlanta and scored 24 points with eight assists in a 97-94 loss.
After missing the first couple of weeks this season while recovering from the
offseason procedure, Wade has averaged a team-best 24.6 points and 6.9 assists
for a club that has the NBA's worst record of 11-50 heading into Monday's game
against the Los Angeles Clippers.
