Georgia women improve to 13-0 by pounding PresbyterianAthens, GA (Sports Network) - Megan Darrah scored a season-high 20 points as the seventh-ranked Georgia Lady Bulldogs remained unbeaten with a 93-49 romp over Presbyterian at Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia (13-0) also got a 15-point, 14-rebound performance from Tasha Humphrey, 16 points from Ashley Houts, and eight from Angela Puelo, and is now one win away from equaling the best start in school history. The Lady Bulldogs began the 1998-99 season by winning their first 14.
Presbyterian (1-15), which committed a whopping 30 turnovers, was led by
Katlin Moore's 15 points. The Blue Hose shot just 27.3 percent in the second
half after being down 52-27 at the half.
