Jones resigns at St. Francis (PA)

Loretto, PA (Sports Network) - Saint Francis University men's basketball coach Bobby Jones resigned on Monday, ending his nine-year run at the helm.

Jones was the only coach in school history to lead the team to three straight winning seasons in Northeast Conference play 2002-03 through 2004-05. He guided the Red Flash to the NEC playoffs in four seasons, including three straight trips from 2003-05.

During his tenure, Jones compiled a record of 85-167. The Red Flash struggled the past three seasons with an 18-68 overall mark. They finished 6-23 this past year.
