Lady Monarchs rule the Pride

Norfolk, VA (Sports Network) - Shahida Williams scored 18 points to lead the 16th-ranked Old Dominion Lady Monarchs in a 91-71 victory over the Hofstra Pride.

Tiffany Green added 16 points and Jessica Canady 15 for the Lady Monarchs (26-4, 17-1 CAA), who bounced back from a 76-53 loss at James Madison. Shadasia Green contributed 10 points

Candice Bellocchio poured in a game-high 21 points for Hofstra (5-24, 3-15), which has dropped nine of its last 10 contests overall. Linn Quamme gave 15 points in defeat.
