Memphis' Dozier, Anderson declare for NBA draftMemphis, TN (Sports Network) - University of Memphis juniors Robert Dozier and Antonio Anderson each declared for the NBA draft on Wednesday. "Both Antonio and Robert approached me about putting their names in the NBA draft, and I support them in their decision," said Memphis head coach John Calipari. "This is good for them because they can work out for teams and see where they stand and find out about their strengths and weaknesses." Dozier recorded 9.2 points per game, third on the Tigers last season, while placing second on the team in rebounds (6.8 per game) and blocked shots (68). He posted five double-doubles on the year, including an 11-point, 10-rebound performance in the title game loss to Kansas. Anderson was fourth on the Tigers in scoring (8.6 ppg) and was named the Conference-USA Tournament MVP, also earning a spot on the conference All- Defensive team. They join teammates Derrick Rose and Chris Douglas-Roberts, both of whom declared for the draft earlier in the month.
