Memphis rolls over Longhorns for trip to Final FourHouston, TX (Sports Network) - Derrick Rose scored 21 points, doled out nine assists, and grabbed six rebounds as Memphis ripped Texas, 85-67, to win the South Region and cruise into the Final Four for the third time in school history. Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 25 points for the top-seeded Tigers (37-1), who have won 11 straight since their lone loss of the season, a February 23 defeat to Tennessee. The Tigers tied the Division I record for wins in a season, set by four other teams. A win against fellow No. 1 seed UCLA in the national semifinal on April 5 will give the Tigers the all-time mark. Joey Dorsey had 11 points and 12 boards, and Shawn Taggart scored 12 points for Memphis. A.J. Abrams scored 17 points and raked in five rebounds for the second-seeded Longhorns (31-7), which lost in an NCAA Tournament game in its home state for the first time in eight games under head coach Rick Barnes. D.J. Augustin scored 16 points for Texas.
