Memphis suspends guard Allen for Final FourMemphis, TN (Sports Network) - The University of Memphis announced Wednesday the suspension of reserve guard Andre Allen for a violation of team policy. The senior did not make the trip to San Antonio for the Final Four for the game against UCLA, as WREG-TV reported Wednesday night that Allen's suspension was drug-related. Memphis head coach John Calipari did not expand on the exact nature of the violation. Back in 2005, Allen was arrested for soliciting a prostitute, but the case was eventually dismissed. In 37 games this season, Allen averaged 14.1 minutes per game and ranked third on the Tigers with 76 assists.
