With the victory Stanford, which will now face Maryland in the regional final on Monday, extended the nation's longest winning streak to 21 in a row.

The sixth-seeded Panthers (24-11) were paced by Shavonte Zellous and her 22 points, followed by Mallorie Winn who dropped in 13 points in the setback.

The Cardinal made a mere 1-of-6 shots from three-point range in the first half, yet the team still played well enough to secure a 29-28 advantage at the break.

In the second half Pitt suffered from the floor at just 26.7 percent and made good on only 2-of-10 beyond the arc, allowing Stanford to cruise to the 19- point win.

The Cardinal defense limited Pitt to 29.5 percent shooting from the field and 4-of-19 behind the three-point line, all while Stanford crushed the Panthers on the glass, 54-30.
