Tennessee's Prince out 3-4 months after shoulder surgeryKnoxville, TN (Sports Network) - University of Tennessee guard J.P. Prince underwent arthroscopic reconstructive surgery on his left shoulder Friday, according to UT basketball athletic trainer Chad Newman. Prince, the SEC's Sixth Man of the Year, will miss three to four months of offseason practice time, but is expected to make a full recovery in time for the team's official practices in October. A Memphis native, the 6-foot-7 Prince averaged eight points and 3.2 rebounds in 2007-08, his first season with the Vols after transferring from Arizona. He scored a career-high 23 in a win at Xavier, and also had 13 and eight boards when UT upset then-No. 1 Memphis in early February.
