UNC women blast Duke, finish undefeated ACC seasonChapel Hill, NC (Sports Network) - Erlana Larkins, LaToya Pringle, and Cetera DeGraffenreid all scored 14 as second-ranked North Carolina completed its first undefeated conference season ever with an 82-51 win over No. 12 Duke. Larkins also pulled down 10 rebounds, DeGraffenreid added six assists, and Pringle had six blocks for UNC (27-2, 14-0 ACC), which ended its regular season and will be the top seed for the conference tournament.
Rashanda McCants scored 12 points for the Tar Heels, who have won 18 of their
last 19 and 10 in a row. Chante Black finished with 14 points and 10 boards for Duke 21-8 (10-4 ACC), which was undefeated in the ACC last season. The Blue Devils were the seventh team in history to do so. No on else scored in double figures for Duke, which is the third seed in the conference tournament. Joy Cheek and Karima Christmas each chipped in eight points for the Blue Devils, who had a two-game win streak snapped.
