Flowers bolting VA Tech for NFLNorfolk, VA (Sports Network) - Virginia Tech cornerback Brandon Flowers will reportedly forgo his senior season to enter the NFL draft. Flowers' father told the Virginian-Pilot of the All-American's decision Sunday evening. "Yep, he's declaring," Willie Flowers told the newspaper. "He's ready." In the past two seasons, Flowers totaled 137 tackles, 15.5 for tackles for loss, eight interceptions and 27 passes broken up. He submitted his paperwork to the NFL advisory committee in December and learned the day after Christmas that he was projected as a second-round pick in April's draft.
