Gholston bolts Ohio State for NFL

Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - Ohio State defensive end Vernon Gholston has decided to forego his senior season and make himself eligible for the NFL Draft.

Gholston set a school-record for sacks in a season with 14 and had 37 tackles, eighth-best on the Buckeyes. He was a main reason why Ohio State had the top- ranked defense in the nation and will likely be a first-round pick.
