Reesing stars for Jayhawks in shutout of BulldogsLawrence, KS (Sports Network) - Todd Reesing completed 32 of 38 passes for 412 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to Daymond Patterson, to lead 14th-ranked Kansas to a 29-0 romp over Louisiana Tech. Patterson caught eight passes for 130 total yards, while Dezmon Briscoe had seven catches for 146 yards and a score for the Jayhawks (2-0), who won their 11th consecutive home game.
Angus Quigley was Kansas' leading rusher with 15 attempts for 84 yards. Taylor Bennett was just 12-for-33 passing for 119 yards and an interception for the Bulldogs (1-1). Phillip Livas had two runs for 80 yards in the loss.
