Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Oklahoma cornerback Reggie Smith has decided to forego his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

Smith started 13 games for Oklahoma this season, ranking fourth on the team with 78 tackles. He also had three interceptions and a fumble recovery, which he returned 61 yards for a touchdown against Miami.

Smith, who was sidelined by a toe injury and missed the Fiesta Bowl, was a first team All-Big 12 selection. He played in 39 games at OU with 36 starts and finished with 165 career tackles and eight interceptions.

Smith becomes the third Sooner to enter the draft, joining teammates Malcolm Kelly and Curtis Lofton. Kelly, a receiver, declared his intentions last Thursday, while Lofton made his announcement Monday. Both players were also juniors.
