MLB Baseball Trash Talk
Angels activate Figgins; Aybar lands on DLToronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Angels activated third baseman Chone Figgins from the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday. Figgins will resume his duties at third base after he was sidelined with a strained right hamstring.
The speedy Figgins is hitting .306 with 11 stolen bases and 18 runs scored in
32 games this season. To make room for Figgins, the club placed infielder Erick Aybar on the 15-day disabled list with a dislocated right pinkie finger. His injury occurred diving for a ball on the Rogers Centre turf in the first inning of Tuesday's 3-1 victory over Toronto. In 43 games this season, Aybar is batting .270 with one home run and 16 RBI.
