Anderson, Browns power their way to first win over BengalsCincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Derek Anderson passed for 138 yards and a touchdown and Jamal Lewis rushed for 79 yards and another score as the Cleveland Browns defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 20-12, at Paul Brown Stadium. Anderson finished 15-of-24 passing with an interception, and Braylon Edwards caught three passes for 22 yards and a TD for Cleveland (1-3). Phil Dawson added two field goals in the win.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, starting for an injured Carson Palmer, struggled for
Cincinnati (0-4), completing 21-of-35 passes for 156 yards with a touchdown
and three interceptions. Palmer has experienced soreness in his throwing elbow
during practice this week after being sacked six times last Sunday in an
overtime loss to the New York Giants. Chad Johnson had three catches for 28 yards and a score, and Shayne Graham booted a pair of field goals for the Bengals.
