Chow out as Titans offensive coordinatorNashville, TN (Sports Network) - The Tennessee Titans on Tuesday fired offensive coordinator Norm Chow. After spending four years as the offensive coordinator at the University of Southern California, Chow joined the Titans in 2005.
"Over the last week, we have done a lot of self-evaluation and I think we
still have work ahead of us to reach out ultimate goal," said Titans head
coach Jeff Fisher. "I have informed Norm that he will not be retained as our
offensive coordinator. I appreciate all of the hard work and contributions he
made to the organization during his time here, but I have decided to go in a
different direction and will start the process of finding a new offensive
coordinator. We wish Norm and his family the best in their future endeavors." The Titans earned the sixth seed in the playoffs after finishing the regular season at 10-6, but lost 17-6 to San Diego in the wild card round.
