Cowboys' Barber likely to play MondayIrving, TX (Sports Network) - Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber will likely be available for next Monday's home opener against the Philadelphia Eagles despite bruised ribs. Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips addressed the media on Monday and said Barber should be able to play next week.
"They [medical personnel] think Marion's going to be fine," Phillips said.
"They expect him by Monday to be OK." Barber left Sunday's 28-10 season-opening win over Cleveland in the fourth quarter. He scored on a pair of one-yard runs in the first half and finished the game with 80 yards on 16 carries.
