Dolphins' Thomas to miss London game against GiantsDavie, FL (Sports Network) - Miami Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas will not play Sunday against the New York Giants in London after experiencing the effects of whiplash from a car accident. Last Sunday, Thomas and his wife were involved in an accident on the Florida Turnpike following Miami's loss to the New England Patriots. Doctors have advised Thomas to rest and not travel with the team.
Thomas, who missed two games earlier this season with a concussion, will
likely be replaced by Channing Crowder. Thomas leads the Dolphins with 52 tackles through seven games this season and also has a sack. In other injury news, tight end David Martin (groin), defensive tackle Keith Traylor (illness), safety Travares Tillman (knee) and defensive tackle Vonnie Holliday (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday.
