Hester sets TD return record

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Chicago's Devin Hester set a single-season record for kick return touchdowns Sunday when he scored on a punt return against the New Orleans Saints.

Hester sprinted 64 yards to the end zone in the third quarter for his sixth return TD of the season, breaking his own record of five set last year in his rookie campaign.

Last year he returned three punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns. He's returned four punts and two kickoffs for scores this year.

Hester is now tied with Dante Hall for the third-most career kick return scores in NFL history with 11. Eric Metcalf has 12 and Brian Mitchell holds the league record with 13.
